Standard inspection

We check the accessible parts of your chimney and fireplace when you plan to keep using them as before. Our inspections follow the three levels defined by the Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA).

Your Level 1 inspection is quoted after we see your chimney.

What's included

  • We inspect the accessible parts of the chimney exterior and interior.
  • We check the chimney structure in the areas we can reach.
  • We examine the flue, the passage that carries smoke and gases, and the connected appliance.
  • We check that the chimney is clear of blockages and combustible deposits, including creosote.

This standard inspection stays with accessible areas; it does not include the flue camera inspection used in Level 2.
