Air Duct / SERVICE TOPIC

Blower Cleaning

Your blower moves air through the AC system. Deposits on its wheel and accessible surrounding parts are different from dust inside the ducts, so blower cleaning focuses on the assembly itself and the areas included in your visit.

When to discuss the blower assembly

  • Visible buildup on the blower wheel.
  • A noticeable change in air movement.
  • Deposits around accessible blower components.
  • A blower finding recorded during system inspection.

How we carry out blower cleaning

  1. Understand the airflow concern

We listen to what you have noticed and identify the blower assembly associated with the unit being assessed.

  2. Review condition and access

We look at the reachable wheel and surrounding parts, distinguishing deposits from visible damage or another component issue.

  3. Set the cleaning boundary

The proposal identifies the blower surfaces involved. Any removal or other component work is discussed as part of the scope.

  4. Remove accessible buildup

We clean the agreed parts using an approach suited to the assembly. Blower cleaning is not the same as vacuuming duct branches.

  5. Document the change

We take before-and-after photos and explain the areas cleaned, the visible findings and any separate work to consider.

Included cleaning and separate component work

Blower cleaning addresses deposits on the accessible parts identified in your quote. Removing that buildup can help keep the air-moving surfaces clearer. The photographs on this page show the blower before and after work.

This service is quoted separately after we see your system. Motor repair, capacitor replacement, coil cleaning and duct cleaning are separate tasks. We describe them individually if the assessment shows another concern, rather than combining them under one general cleaning label.

What happens while we are at your property

You can point out the unit and describe any change in air movement. We review access before starting, explain the planned work and show the photographs afterward. You will know which blower area was reached and which findings fall outside cleaning.

Blower-specific questions

Will duct suction also clean the blower wheel?

Not automatically. The blower is a component inside the equipment, while duct cleaning collects material from accessible duct passages. We identify blower cleaning as its own scope.

Why show photos of the blower before and after cleaning?

They help you see the particular assembly and the visible deposits that changed. A photograph documents the pictured area; it does not establish the condition of every part inside your AC.
