Brickwork, joints & water-entry concerns
Chimney Repair
Cracked brick, loose mortar or water around the fireplace? We assess the affected part of the chimney and explain the repair needed before quoting the work.
Scope and price discussed for your home.
Chimney Repair
Repair the source of the problem.
The chimney exterior, crown and roof connection each play a different role. A crown sheds water from the masonry top; flashing manages the roof-to-chimney junction. Repair should address the affected component rather than assuming every leak comes from the same place.
From the first assessment to your project plan
Professional repair planning separates the damaged component from the cause. A failed joint, broken crown and roof-junction leak call for different work. The proposal should identify the affected area and compatible repair material, then explain how the repaired area will be checked and which concealed conditions remain outside the assessment.
Know what belongs in your quote
- The component involved and the findings supporting the proposed repair.
- Whether the scope is localized masonry work, crown work, a roof-junction concern or a larger rebuild.
- Materials, access arrangements and any related work to coordinate before approval.

Discuss access and the inspection needed to distinguish visible damage from a concealed concern.
Agree on the repair
Review the proposed scope and price before authorizing work, including any follow-up assessment.

A few useful answers
Make the next chimney decision with the details in hand.
Your project is quoted separately from basic chimney cleaning. Tell us your ZIP code and what you have noticed.
Ask about this serviceWill a new cap fix every chimney leak?
No. Water can enter through different parts of the system. A cap is only one component; crown, masonry and flashing concerns need their own assessment.
Is repair part of the $149 cleaning visit?
No. Basic chimney cleaning is a separate service. Repair materials, access and labor are quoted for the findings at your property.
Can you determine the repair from a photo?
Photos help explain the concern, but they cannot establish the condition of hidden areas. A site assessment may be needed before the repair is confirmed.
