Air Duct / SERVICE TOPIC

Cleaning AC Unit System

Your AC unit contains parts that move air, transfer heat and carry away condensation. We look at the components that need attention and explain a cleaning scope for your equipment, rather than treating the entire unit as one surface.

When the unit deserves a closer look

  • Visible dust around accessible internal parts.
  • A change in airflow that you cannot explain.
  • Deposits on a coil or blower wheel.
  • Water or staining near the condensate area.

How we approach AC component cleaning

  1. Listen to your concern

You show us what changed and where you noticed it. We distinguish a cleaning request from an operating fault.

  2. Review the accessible components

We identify the relevant coil, blower or surrounding area and look at the material, condition and access available.

  3. Define the work

We explain which parts are included. Any removal, repair or additional access is discussed before the scope is agreed.

  4. Clean the agreed areas

The approach follows the component and its condition. Coil surfaces, blower blades and duct passages do not receive identical treatment.

  5. Show the findings

We use before-and-after photos and explain the visible result, including concerns that cleaning alone cannot address.

Component cleaning and duct cleaning are different jobs

Your quote identifies the AC components and accessible areas being cleaned. Reviewing those areas can help separate visible buildup from damage or another operating concern.

Basic duct cleaning is $199 per AC unit: our technician uses a NIKRO vacuum for accessible dust and debris, visually checks the AC area and includes a free visual mold check without laboratory testing. Coil, blower and other component work is quoted separately after we see your system.

What you can expect at your home

Show us the unit location and describe what you have observed. We explain access and the proposed work before cleaning begins. You receive an explanation of the areas reached, the photographs and any finding that calls for another service.

Questions about cleaning the AC unit

Does this mean every part inside the AC is cleaned?

No. Equipment layouts and access differ. We identify the components included in your proposal instead of describing the visit as an unlimited clean of everything inside the cabinet.

Will cleaning correct a mechanical fault?

Cleaning addresses deposits on the selected surfaces. A damaged component or electrical fault needs its own assessment and proposed work; it should not be hidden inside a cleaning description.
