ASSESS THE EXHAUST ROUTE
Get a closer look at your dryer’s exit route.
A dryer vent inspection reviews the exhaust route from the appliance connection toward the outside cap. We explain what can be seen and reached at your home, so an accessible visual check is not confused with a view of every concealed section.
Scope and price discussed for your home.
SEPARATE INSPECTIONQuoted separately
A stand-alone vent inspection is quoted separately after we see your system. An accessible visual check is included in basic cleaning at $99 per dryer vent.

- Drying has changed and the cause is unclear.
- A reachable connector looks crushed or displaced.
- The outside termination appears blocked or damaged.
- A moved appliance or earlier repair raises a route question.
How we review the dryer exhaust arrangement
Listen to the route concern
We ask what changed and locate the dryer and outdoor termination. Any earlier vent information can help explain the particular area involved.
Review the appliance connection
We look at the accessible transition and fixed duct connection, noting visible crushing, separation or material concerns behind the dryer.
Follow the reachable exhaust path
The review considers accessible sections toward the cap. We identify concealed areas and explain when additional access would be a different proposed task.
Look at the outside opening
We review the reachable hood, flap and visible obstruction, relating that opening to the connection and route rather than assessing it in isolation.
Explain and photograph the findings
You receive an account of the areas reached and the visible concerns. We distinguish inspection findings from any cleaning, repair or replacement being proposed.
An inspection finding is not an automatic repair
The inspection proposal identifies the accessible route and review included. Looking at connections, the path and the cap can help decide which concern needs attention. Photographs document the pictured areas without implying that every hidden section has been seen.
A separate dryer vent inspection is quoted separately after we see your system. Basic cleaning is $99 per dryer vent and includes an accessible visual check. Airflow testing, wall access, replacement pipework and clearing an obstruction beyond that cleaning scope are separate services.
What you can expect at the inspection visit
Show us the laundry area and share the outside outlet location if you know it. Describe changes in drying, earlier repairs or appliance moves. We explain access before the review, then discuss the findings and the proposed next task without assuming that inspection includes corrective work.
Inspection questions about reach and findings
Can you describe a concealed section without opening the wall?
We can discuss the route information and accessible observations, but a hidden section has access limits. If reaching it is needed, we explain that additional task before proposing an opening.
Will you decide on cleaning or replacement before seeing the route?
We first review the concern and accessible condition. Deposits, physical damage and a poor connection call for different work, so the proposed service follows the finding rather than an assumption made beforehand.
