THE OUTSIDE EXIT

Don’t let the outside outlet go overlooked.

Lint and debris can collect where the dryer exhaust leaves the home. During basic dryer vent cleaning, we address the outlet when it is safely accessible and explain any visible obstruction.

WHAT TO EXPECT

A clear exit starts with access.

The outside hood is the end of the exhaust path. We look for visible lint or debris at an accessible outlet and clean reachable buildup as part of the agreed basic scope.

01

Locate the outlet

Tell us where the vent exits, if you know. Wall, upper-story and roof outlets can have different access needs.

02

Clean what is reachable

Accessible lint and debris at the opening can be removed during basic vent cleaning. We confirm the access and scope before work.

03

Know what needs a separate quote

If the outlet is high, obstructed or damaged, we explain what we can see. Cover replacement, repairs and inaccessible work are outside the $99 basic cleaning.

Your dryer’s last stop before the outdoors.

The exterior hood is one part of the dryer exhaust route. An accessible opening can be reviewed for visible material or a damaged fitting, but it does not reveal everything concealed between the dryer and the outside. Identify which outlet serves your dryer, especially where several exterior openings are present. A changed drying pattern is a reason to discuss the route rather than assume the visible outlet is the only cause.

Help us locate your exterior outlet.

Share the known outlet location, its approximate height and any gate or building-access restriction. A photograph from the ground or another safe accessible position may help the initial discussion. Do not climb, detach the hood or reach into an inaccessible opening merely to prepare for the visit. Ask what access the proposed cleaning can use and which areas would require a separate arrangement.

Clean the buildup or replace the cover?

Removing reachable lint or debris does not replace a damaged cap or repair the permanent pipe. If another task is recommended, ask what finding supports it and which material, access and price are proposed before approving the change. After cleaning, ask which outlet area was reached, what was observed and whether another part of the exhaust path needs assessment. Keep that explanation with the agreed service scope for a future visit.

A CLEAR ANSWER

Can you clean every exterior outlet?

Access depends on the home. The $99 price covers basic cleaning of accessible vent areas per dryer vent; it does not promise roof access, removal of every obstruction or replacement of the exterior cover.
